Situated on St. Mary's in the Isles of Scilly, Charlie's Cottage is a traditional granite cottage that sleeps up to six in three bedrooms with self-catering facilities.
Completely re-built and restored to a very high standard, the cottage features a tongue and groove whitewashed interior and stone or wooden floors throughout.
Charlie’s Cottage is nestled in a quiet corner of Porthcressa, just 50 yards from the famous beach and a short, level walk from the main town.

Accommodation
50 yards along a sandy track to the beach and a five minute, level walk to Hugh Town.
The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.
Living
Downstairs consists of a large and stylish fully equipped kitchen-diner, gorgeous living room with a wood burning stove and comfortable velvet sofas. There is also a flat screen TV, hi-fi system with DAB radio and bluetooth connectivity, board games and books.
Eating
The kitchen contains an electric cooker and induction hob, full size fridge freezer, dish-washer, microwave, slow-cooker and a full range of modern cookware, crockery, glassware and cookbooks.
Sleeping
The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. Two double bedrooms with zip and link super king-size beds that can be set up as full size twins. The third bedroom contains full size, handmade built-in bunkbeds. All of our linen is 600 thread count luxury Egyptian cotton.
Bathing
There is a family bathroom upstairs that has a bath with overhead shower, WC, basin with storage, a mirrored cabinet with shaver point and adjustable heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a shower room with WC, basin with storage, a mirrored cabinet with shaver point and adjustable heated towel rail.

Facilities
All linen and bathroom towels are provided (except beach towels). There is also a laundry room off the landing with quiet washing machine, dryer and airer. Iron and ironing board, hair-dryers, radio/cd/Bluetooth player, free wi-fi, high chair, travel cot and a pair of stair gates. The cottage has a large new electric boiler and electric radiators in every room.
Outside
There is a courtyard at the rear of the cottage with outside tap and hose and a small seating area bordered by a traditional granite dry stone wall at the front.

St. Mary’s
St. Mary’s is the Isles of Scilly’s largest island (population 1,800) and the gateway to the rest of the islands. Covering an area a little more than 6 square miles, it’s still not exactly bustling but with its air and sea links, it’s more than likely to be your first port of call when you visit.
Hugh Town is the central hub with its cluster of shops, churches, post office, cafés, galleries, restaurants and pubs. It has three lovely beaches in very close proximity – Porthcressa with a children’s play area close by; Town Beach, a perfect spot to watch the comings and goings on the Quay; and Porthmellon which also hosts the Sailing Centre.
